Welcome to Apex Steering. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from Apex Steering. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Apex Steering is an online retailer specialising in premium handmade carbon fibre steering wheels and automotive accessories.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use this website and purchase products.

3. Products

All products sold by Apex Steering are described as accurately as possible. However:

  • Product images are for illustrative purposes only.

  • Colours, materials and finishes may vary slightly due to lighting, screen settings and the handmade manufacturing process.

  • Minor variations in carbon fibre weave, stitching, leather grain and finish are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.

4. Vehicle Compatibility

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that any product ordered is compatible with their specific vehicle.

If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order with your vehicle's make, model, year and VIN where possible.

Apex Steering is not responsible for costs arising from incorrect orders placed by the customer.

5. Pricing

All prices are displayed in the selected store currency.

Prices may change without notice but will not affect orders already confirmed.

Taxes, customs duties and import fees may apply depending on your location and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

6. Orders

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order where:

  • Product availability changes.

  • Pricing errors occur.

  • Fraudulent activity is suspected.

  • Incorrect information has been provided.

If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.

7. Made-to-Order Products

Many Apex Steering products are handmade and manufactured to order.

Production generally takes 7–10 business days, although this may vary during busy periods.

Estimated production and delivery times are not guaranteed.

8. Shipping

Delivery times are estimates only.

Apex Steering is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Couriers

  • Customs inspections

  • Severe weather

  • Industrial action

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery.

9. Returns and Cancellations

Because many of our steering wheels are handmade and manufactured specifically to customer order, they may not qualify for cancellation or change-of-mind returns where permitted by applicable consumer law.

If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us promptly with photographs so we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

10. Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

Improper installation may affect the safe operation of the steering wheel, airbag system or vehicle controls.

Apex Steering accepts no liability for damage, injury or loss resulting from incorrect installation or modification.

11. Airbags and Original Components

Unless otherwise stated, steering wheels do not include:

  • Airbags

  • Multifunction buttons

  • Paddle shifters

  • Trim pieces

  • Wiring

  • Electronic modules

These components are generally intended to be transferred from the customer's original steering wheel where compatible.

12. Warranty

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Vehicle accidents

  • Modifications made after delivery

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning products

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apex Steering shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, product descriptions, photographs, graphics and branding, is the property of Apex Steering or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used without prior written permission.

15. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
